We hold a space for you, where technique meets imagination. Learn the bubble technique, experiment with stencils, textures and tape, or explore the magic of special and chip glazing with friendly guidance at every step to help your ideas come alive. No experience is needed, only curiosity. Our team of artists and creatives are here to show you how, support you when you need it, and cheer you on as you create something truly personal. You can walk in to our studio during our opening hours without booking (our workshops always take place in a separate room). Bring your friends & family, work colleagues or simply come on your own to relax. In addition, our studio can be rented for children’s and teens' parties, private functions or corporate events . Besides offering a cozy space for everyone to explore their own creative power, our aim is to provide different workshops and theme events suitable and curated for children and adults, to show the innumerable facets pottery painting , working with clay and glass fusing have to offer. We believe in the power of the creative process and that it helps you to switch off and to forget everything else and that the shared joy of free creation brings friends, families and even colleagues together. We are here to help you from brainstorming to execution. We'll explain the basics and show you brush strokes and techniques. We also have templates, prints, indigosable patterns and idea-ready painted ceramics waiting for you if you arrive without a specific idea in mind. I am Gabi, the owner of Creative You, this special place for children and adults, who would like to explore their creativity and participate in different workshops and theme events from pottery painting to designing their own sneakers. The sky is the limit! As a little girl I have always been creative but never talented and I didn’t understand, why I can’t join courses and art studios, why it was the privilege of the only highly talented in my childhood. This is what inspired me - after years of working in corporate sales and marketing - to open my own creative studio in 2019, which has become a hub for children and adults, who derive pleasure from the creative process of designing, painting, working with clay, printing flowers... you name it! I love experiencing the shared joy of free creation among friends, families or work colleagues. TEAM Éva Schnitzer Hello, my name is Évi. I have 3 wonderful children and an amazing, supporting husband, who are the number one priority in my life. Gabi is a fun person with a lot of positive energy. Her enthusiasm transferred over to me and I started working at Creative You in 2020. I've always had a creative streak. I started working with clay about 8 years ago as a hobby, I learned from Birgit Heyner. My new passion is glass fusing. I attended classes at various places to make sure I learn this technique properly. (I am quite the perfectionist ;-) I enjoy working with children the most. Teaching kids is one of the best parts of my job and a privilege I appreciate and respect a lot. Handmade pieces are as unique as we all are. Noémi András Hello everyone, I’m Noémi. I graduated in management, driven by my passion for working with people. However, deep down, I always knew that the corporate path wasn’t for me. During my school years, my notebooks were filled with little drawings alongside my notes. So, when I found this job, I was truly thrilled – it allows me to do both things I love at the same time. Although I originally painted mainly on canvas, since starting here, I’ve discovered the joy of painting on ceramics, and it’s been such a fun experience! One of my greatest joys is working with children, so I especially love the camps we organize. Beyond painting, I’m passionate about nature, animals, photography, and writing. I believe that life is a journey, and it’s important to find ways to have fun, create something meaningful for the world, and, of course, spread love and kindness to others. I’m sure that if you come in to paint with us, I’ll be happy to help bring out the Creative side of You! Vaida Desjobert Hey there! I'm Vaida. Originally from Lithuania, but I've got the travel bug and have already called 7 countries my home! The Mediterranean Sea is a source of inspiration for me, and I spend as much time as possible there. Since I was a kid, I've been head over heels for anything arty and creative. I love the simplicity of aesthetic minimalism, but I'm also drawn to the excitement of bold colors, textures, and textured art – a bit of a contradiction, I know! I studied management and marketing and spent over 10 years in the corporate finance world. I later took on some project management and Personal Assistant work for a short period. But my heart has always been in the creative world. I've worked on tons of events, from small personal gatherings to big corporate bashes. My real passion? Painting! I love working with oils and acrylics on canvas and now on ceramics. I've had exhibitions in London, Ireland, and Switzerland. When I'm not painting, you can find me with my camera in hand, exploring the world through my lens. Oh, and I can't forget my love for interior design, styling and decoration. There's something so satisfying about transforming a space and making it beautiful. Working at the studio is a dream come true. Every day is a learning experience, and I'm constantly amazed by the creativity of the people around me. I love helping them bring their artistic visions to life and create something beautiful to take home. Whether I'm leading a corporate event with ceramic painting or exploring other art techniques, I'm always up for sharing my passion and knowledge. But the best part? WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING ARTS & CRAFTS ACTIVITIES: CERAMIC PAINTING GLASS FUSING CLAY WORKSHOPS Just walk in any time during our opening hours, EVEN IF we have a workshop going on - those take place in a separate room, so you always have a place for undisturbed, spontaneous creation. There is no need to wear protective clothing as the colours can be easily wiped off even from your clothes. Our paints are made in Italy, are certified non-toxic, do not stain and can be washed off with cold water. However, since we want you to be able to fully relax and go with your creative flow instead of worrying about your clothes, we provide aprons. Ceramic prices range between 29 and 199 CHF depending on the piece you choose. Paints, brushes, stencils, as well as glazing and firing are included in the cost of your piece of pottery. Please note, that if you only accompany someone painting, but you don’t wish to join the creative fun, you’ll be charged a fee of 20 CHF - we hope you understand, as we have our seats reserved for actively creating guests only. (Except for special cases, like accompanying a child under 5 years of age.) CERAMIC PAINTING CERAMIC PAINTING 1. CHOOSE Pick a ceramic piece you like. We have a wide selection of raw ceramics: egg cups, tiny figurines, salt and pepper shakers, honey jars, cups (espresso, cappuccino, tea, latte macchiato, travel), plates of all sizes from kids plates to serving plates, bowls of all kinds for muesli and also for fruits and veggies, vases, butter containers, tea pots... more than 100 different items! Bring your ideas to life. No inspiration? Don`t worry! We have lots of stencils and catalogs full of patterns waiting for you, not to mention our team, who are there to help you the entire time with ideas and techniques. Draw your selected design on your chosen ceramic piece and paint it. You can choose from over 50 different colours and surfaces. No previous experience is necessary! We glaze and fire the piece to bring the colours to life and to make it dishwasher- and microwave safe. The ceramics are fired at 1000 degrees, which gives your pieces store-quality: they will durable, resistant to scraping and scrubbing as well as to ice-cold or burning-hot liquids. In 7-10 days your unique creations are ready for pick-up . Please note that we can store your artwork for 3 months. 2. PAINT 3. BURN CLAY WORKSHOPS CLAY WORKSHOPS Ready to try something hands-on and totally satisfying? Clay-day is calling! Our Clay Workshop is the perfect chance to slow down, get creative, and make something beautiful with your own two hands — no experience needed! From bowls to mugs, your masterpiece starts with just a pinch. Come sculpt, shape & play — no experience needed, just your imagination and a comfy outfit! Choose your shape, create your masterpiece, paint it and we’ll fire it up for you. No previous experience is necessary. ATTEND A CLAY WORKSHOP GLASS FUSING Make jewellery that shines as bright as you do. Add colour and sparkle to your day! Design and handcraft your own rings, earrings, pendants, or bracelets from vibrant glass. We’ll guide you through every step — from cutting and layering to fusing your creations in the kiln. No experience needed – just bring your imagination. All tools and materials provided. Create your own style. Find your colours. Make it yours. After cutting, glueing and decorating, the glass pieces are put in the kiln and fused together. The technique is called “FUSING". It's up to you, whether you create for yourself and make less jewellery, or you make more jewellery as gifts for others - your team members, your friends and your relatives. The workshop will introduce you to coloured glass and the variety of uses for it. After a short introduction and a little practice, you will be able to create your own glass jewellery to your own taste. The variations are endless... create your own style! HOW IS GLASS JEWELLERY MADE? We will work with two interesting tools: glass plates and ”spaghetti”glasses. 1. First, we'll teach you how to crack glass and show you techniques to combine and personalise colourful pieces. 2. One by one, we will pack your glass creations with the utmost care to make them as beautiful as possible and make you proud. 3. You can choose from a variety of a ring, a pendant or earring bases, but you can also string your glass pieces as bracelets. WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU? All tools and materials will be provided for the session, you don't need to bring anything. You'll work with professional tools and quality glass and have plenty of colours to choose from.
