Xmas Cookies and Jar Decorating Workshop

MASTER THE ART OF COOKIE DECORATING

Participate in our joint event with Susan from @susan_sdekorkekse. Susan is a proffesional baker with a huge passion for baking since her childhood, she learnt the basics from her grandmother but she is mostly self taught. 

In this workshop in Creative You we will cover the following:

• Baking the perfect gingerbread cookie for decorating and to achieve the perfect cookie canvas to your sweet art
• Foolproof recipe to practice at home
• Working with royal icing
• Royal icing techniques - flooding a cookie, wet-on-wet technique, layering icing to create dimension, detailed work, fine lines work
• Creating 6 perfectly decorated cookie shapes
• If you are a beginner and are up for a bit of a challenge, the class is very detailed so it can be done by anyone!

This is an adult open age class but suitable for age 12+ and no previous experience is necessary.

However, children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

All cookies and materials are included and everyone will get a little present at the beginning of the course.

This hands-on experience welcomes all levels, ages 12 and above. All materials provided and a special gift awaits!

THE JAR

1 to 2 weeks before Friday the 1st December come and paint your cookie jar in perparation for your cookie decorating class.

You can come anytime during these days, please plan minimum 2 hours for painting your jar.

THE COOKIES

See your jar finished and glazed, ready to fill up with cookies.

Learn advanced royal icing techniques from Susan: flooding, wet-on-wet, layering, intricate detailing and how to layer icing to create dimension, detailed work and fine lines work. Create 6 unique cookies with expert guidance. The class is very detailed so it can be done by anyone. Suitable for beginners and experienced decorators (age 12+).

TICKET PRICE: 159 CHF - 2x3 hours of expert-assisted ceramic painting and cookie decorating, all materials are provided for both dates (a cookie jar, 6 cookies and all the recepies).

We will serve finger food and a glass of Prosecco.
