Still Life Painting On Canvas

Yes, you can do it also! 

Painting on canvas - or on ceramics - might seem intimidating at first for many, but its all about taking that first step and learning to enjoy the process! 

In this workshop we will learn about composition and framing of a topic,  uderstand how light interacts with your object and learn how to use colours for our advantage. 

With the help of Kate Atherton, a Zürich-based artist from the UK with international experience, we will embarque upon a workshop series to explore painting techniques and their transition to different mediums including ceramics. 

At our first event we will be painting a still life composition in our studio, after which you will be able to take home your artwork, as well as the confidence to further create and explore. 

Art is fun, so lets make art/fun together!

• Warm up your drawing skills with some quick sketching excercises at the beginning
• Listen to an aclomplished artist's explanation about art concepts and techniques - first hand experience
• You can paint your own painting and take home with you - show it off proudly!
• Adapt yourl newly learned skills to ceramics painting by creating your own piece
• Enjoy some healthy lunch and drinks with some laughter and chatter

Ticket price: 135 CHF includes all materials, vegetarian lunch, and drinks.

This event will be in English and German. No previous experience is needed.
