The days move slowly, the evenings fall early, and suddenly there is room for something many of us miss in December: time for ourselves. It is the month when a softer start feels welcome. A small ritual, a gentle moment, something meaningful to ease into the new year. And on a cold winter evening, when little is happening outside, why not step into a warm studio, wrap your hands around a mug of hot chocolate, and create something just for you? Part 1 – Handbuilding your mug and small plate with Viktoria Jeanroy In this cosy workshop, Viktoria guides you through shaping your own mug and a small plate using simple hand-building techniques. No talent or experience needed, and no pressure to make anything “perfect”. Life already asks enough of us. This evening is about slowing down, enjoying the process, and letting your hands move at their own pace. The lovely part is that even without aiming for perfection, you will leave with a piece to be proud of — something truly yours. Creative You will spoil you with warm, rich hot chocolate to make the evening feel even more comforting. Drying and Firing After the workshop, your pieces will dry for around two weeks before their first firing. Part 2 – Glazing at Creative You When your mug and plate are ready, you can book a glazing session directly with Creative You. The team will guide you through choosing and applying colours, turning your creations into a finished, personal set. After glazing, your pieces will be fired again and will be ready for collection — perfect for cosy mornings, warm teas, or a quiet moment to yourself. A handmade mug and plate, shaped in January.
